3rd Annual MMVC13: August 23-25, 2013

“Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend”

– Albert Camus

We are delighted to announce our upcoming Moodlemoot Virtual Conference, which means more exciting professional development webinars for teachers everywhere. How would you like to improve your knowledge of teaching with technology and learning management systems?  We are here in an open, sharing capacity to bring you stories, ideas, tips and tricks so that you can walk with us as we continue our professional develpment journeys online.

Our upcoming Moodlemoot virtual conference will have an exciting mixture of creative and tech-savvy presenters who are experienced in reaching out to course participants from all levels of experience in technology.

Moodlemoot virtual conference is an annual event by educators for educators. The event includes teaching online with and without Moodle course management system. The event started in 2011 and has been going on ever since. These online events are very empowering for both the presenters and for the audience. Both the participants and the presenters engage in lifelong learning.

A major feature of this series of presentations is its open-ended and flexible look at online teaching practicalities. You will learn more than moodle and more than technology. The presentations are about the spirit of creativity in technology rather than a series of ‘how-to’ lectures.

You will learn not only the nuts and bolts of online course management realities, but you will also be introduced to important choices and alternatives to help you create your own style of educational course management based on your own practical issues.

What we would love you to take away from these conferences apart from new ideas, tips and tricks, is an inspired confidence in the power of technology in education, confidence in your own power to make a difference in education, and an appreciation of the heart and soul behind sharing knowledge, ideas and cutting-edge pedagogical perspectives.

You may have attended many technology-based ‘how-to’ webinars before. MMVC13 will definitely be different. We take pride in the fact that our webinars are driven by personality, insights, experience and passion. Expect the unexpected. Technology is what you want it to be. Allow us to enhance your vision so that you can do the same for others.

Feel free to browse through the list below and see which topics resonate with you. Imagine interacting in our live webinars, connecting with experienced leaders in the field, and engaging in spontaneous brainstorms, learning quests, questions and answers. Sounds like magic, doesn’t it?

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
Arthur C. Clarke
