Design forms a very important part of our lives.
Right from picking up a new attire, and buying a car to moving into a new home, and much more, design informs our decisions and experiences at large, so much so that it can make us feel elated or weary. Work space design, on the other hand, can directly affect our productivity. Design governs the choices we make both consciously and subconsciously. Such is the influence of design on us.
We recognize how crucial the WizIQ Virtual Classroom design is in ensuring that you do your teaching and learning activities seamlessly while feeling great about being in a live class. With that in mind, we have introduced the snazzy new Virtual Classroom design which centers on aesthetics and usability.
Contrasting colours have been carefully used in the new design to ensure that the most significant areas and elements in the classroom are highlighted and easier to find. These include, among other things, buttons, text, links, pop-up windows, and menus. The overall visibility of these elements has been considerably enhanced. These changes have made the navigation more intuitive. Even a quick glance at the new design is enough for an uninitiated or new user to understand how the classroom works. With the new design, the classroom now has an uncluttered and fresh look.
The new WizIQ users can see the new virtual classroom interface as their default classroom view as soon as they launch the class. The old WizIQ users have an option of switching between the old and new classroom interfaces. To view the new interface, simply click the Try New Classroom button (see Figure 1) on the top menu bar of the classroom. Once you click the button, you will be asked to confirm your action by clicking Yes (see Figure 2). When you confirm the action, the classroom will reload with the new design for all the class attendees.
The new design or interface is currently available through the browser-based classroom and WizIQ mobile learning app. You can experience the new and improved classroom design right away by scheduling and conducting a live class now.
