Mentoring & Global Citizenship: Part 2

The conversation with Daniel F. Bassill on April 25 was inspirational. Mentoring adults is one way we can fulfill our roles as global citizens. Daniel Bassill has been mentoring and leading a mentoring exchange organization locally, nationally and internationally. He is a “Global Citizen”.

Watch the following video recordings from his conversation on WizIQ to learn why Daniel F. Bassill is an example of a “global citizen”.

Global citizenship is more than a powerful concept, it is a way of life for many educators and caring people worldwide. I have had the honor of connecting with such people for the past 10 years. Vance Stevens and the webheads in action that Vance has been heading for over 10 years are additional examples of global citizenship. The Webheads international community is making a difference in the lives of language teachers, their students and their families around the world. Listen watch Vance Stevens on Conversation on WizIQ to get the sense of what it means to be a “global citizen”.

Join many caring people and I on WizIQ on Sunday April 29, 2012 at 11 AM Toronto EST as we discuss “global citizenship”. In the session, we will focus on the term and ways we can make a difference in the world. I created a course on Cultural Diversity Begins with Me and Global Citizenship on Moodle for free. If you are interested in the next course, just email me and I will share the enrollment key with you. The course on Moodle will begin on June 1. 2012.

In addition, I will be creating courses on WizIQ for those interested in learning more about global citizenship. You are invited to join me in developing courses on WizIQ on Cultural Diversity, Global Citizenship,  Tutoring and Mentoring, Mindfulness Mediation Practice, Blended Learning, Moodle for Teachers, and other subject areas that interest you.
