Have you ever wondered what it would be like to access your online classes on WizIQ faster than ever before? It is not a far-fetched idea. It is now possible with the WizIQ Desktop App. Yes, you got it right! We developed an App for you to download.  It gives you quick and direct access to your live classes and class recordings on WizIQ.

So, what else is so great about this App? Here’s what we think you would like about the WizIQ Desktop App:

Quick and easy installation – The App can be downloaded and installed on your computer in just a few minutes. In other words, you won’t have enough time to make popcorn or rest your elbows on the table and let your mind wander. It will be installed before you even know it. The size of the App is just 13.1 MB and you need to install it only once!

No browser, No hassles – With the WizIQ Desktop App, you don’t need to worry about browser compatibility issues and choosing the right browser. The App provides browser-free Virtual Classroom interface.  So, you can say goodbye to all the browser-related issues.

One App for everyone – The great thing about the Desktop App is that the same version of the App can be used by everyone. Whether you are a presenter or an attendee on WizIQ, only one version of the App is all it takes to access your live classes or recordings. No need for remembering and choosing the right version.

An App for the speed-hungry users – For those of you who live in the fast lane, the good news is that the App provides lightning-fast access to your live classes and recordings. All you need to do is log in to the App with your WizIQ username and password. And you are good to GO!

    Thank you for your feedback and appreciation. We are glad you liked the App. Your comment on the blog was not visible earlier because of website maintenance. Please accept our sincere apologies for the delayed response.

    Currently, the class-end notification feature is not available in the WizIQ Desktop App. However, we will be introducing this feature very soon. The tentative release date for this feature is March 10, 2014.

    Moreover, we recently launched the new and improved version of the Desktop App. We will be adding a few more features, including the class-end notification feature, to the new Desktop app in March 2014. We recommend that you download the upgraded App after March 10, 2014.

    Hi

    That’s great application and really better e-class experience than browsers. In the next update, though, please fix the notifier that the class is about to end. It suppose to notify the teacher 5 minutes before the class is over but I have never got a notice with this app and the class suddenly ended. I think this is the only weakness..

    1. It is ALWAYS full screen. I don’t want your app taking up ALL of my 26 inch display.

    2. I can’t schedule a lesson on the fly. I have to go to your website to set up a lesson. That takes additional time, that I don’t want to burn up – that’s why I downloaded your app.

      Thank you for your feedback. Our blog page was under maintenance and your comment was not visible because of some technical glitch earlier. Sorry for the delayed response.

      However, we have some good news for you! We launched the new and improved version of the WizIQ Desktop App for Windows lately. The new version of the App gets automatically invoked through the browser. So, you don’t need to leave your e-learning platform or CMS/LMS to schedule and launch the class using the App.

      As for the full-screen view, Virtual Classroom is always opened in the full-screen mode to provide an optimized experience to users. Resizing the Virtual Classroom window will compromise the Virtual classroom experience. You have an option of minimizing the Classroom window to switch to other applications on your computer.

    Good Afternoon, I just downloaded this desktop App for a Windows 7 platform. Once I have tested it out in this Saturday’s classes, I’ll post another response. Thanks to your team of workers for making the use of your software easier with each update and change.
