Understanding the Teaching System on WizIQ: A Free Webinar

Using WizIQ

Teaching Fully Online and in Blended Learning

Many teachers, whether they teach online, in blended or in a face-to-face class, feel alone in the classroom. Teachers get no help before, during, and after a lesson. They wish they could share information and ideas with other teachers in and out of their schools.

Learn to Blend and Flip with Technology

I created Learn to Blend and Flip with Technology so that teachers can learn together and share what they do in the classroom. The course provides teachers with opportunities to collaborate with other teachers on how to blend and flip their classes with technology. So far, there are 930 teachers from over 100 countries. Our goal is to work together so we can improve instruction and learning. ¬†You’re invited to join and share the opportunity to learn with educators from around the globe with your colleagues and friends.

This is a free hands-on professional development course for educators and/or anyone who wants to share information in a socially meaningful way. The course includes live online classes (with recordings), content (via the courseware), discussions (via the course feed), and hands-on activities.

Participants will learn how to create videos using Webcams via WizIQ classes, screencast-o-matic, PowerPoint presentations, and Google drive. They will upload the video files to YouTube and Vimeo for blended learning, the flipped class, and to market their online courses. Participants will learn how to teach with web technologies such as blogs, wikis, Google drive, badges, the WizIQ live class, Moodle, social networks, and videos.

Participants who complete the tasks will receive a certificate of completion.

Blended and Blended Online Learning

Blended learning means teaching and connecting with students both face-to-face and online. Fully online learning means never meeting the students face-to-face at a specific time or place. Blended Online Learning means teaching and learning online, but meeting students at specific times via a virtual live online class.

Understanding the WizIQ Teaching System

I think teachers are amazing. The teachers I meet are caring individuals who want to make a meaningful and positive difference in the lives of others. My goal is to give back to teachers everywhere. The only way to reach educators from every part of the globe is to teach online. I have been providing mostly free teacher training courses on WebQuest, integrating technology, research, academic writing, TESOL, mindfulness, Moodle, Google Drive, collaborative learning, blogs, wikis, e-portfolios, storytelling, WizIQ, doctoral dissertation; since 2007.

On May 26, 2014, I started giving live online classes for teachers and those, who wish to teach, on how to use WizIQ courses and online virtual classes. Teachers and organizations can use the system for Blended, Fully online, and Blended Online Learning (BOL).
