Welcome to the new WizIQ blog

Education & Technology

As you may have noticed, our blog is looking a bit different these days. In fact, it even has a new address. The old wiziq.typepad.com has gone the way of IE6 and Windows 98, with a fresh new WordPress blog living at wiziq.com/blog. It’s time we started writing a bit more and talking directly to our users and the e-learning community more often . So we’re relaunching this week with a new look, a new platform, and a new purpose.

Our blog has always been a place for us to share updates and enhancements, along with the occasional neat idea or announcement around WizIQ and our Virtual Classroom. Of course, we’ll keep using the blog for important announcements (and, I might add, there are going to be a lot of big announcements this month as we get closer to EDUCAUSE!) However, we’d rather spend more time having conversations with you.

After all, WizIQ has grown to a mature e-learning platform because of you: our users, supporters, and e-learning advocates. While WizIQ is hurtling to new technical levels, the foundation of what we do remains this vast network of users, whether single tutors working 1:1 or professors capturing their lectures and teaching distance education courses at large universities.

So join us in the conversation on our new blog! Expect to see a lot more posts about the news and issues that affect all of us, as we collectively push e-learning forward and find powerful new ways to connect. Do you have something you’d like us to discuss? Have a guest post in mind? Email me at chris@wiziq.com.

There’s at least a million-and-a-half of you I’d like to meet, and plenty more we’d love to include in our discussions, even if they haven’t started using WizIQ yet.
And, of course, stay tuned for more exciting news from WizIQ …

I think you’ll like what we have to share.

Best regards,
Chris Dawson

  1. Thats correct there is a limit of 2GB for a free account. I just move files off my dropbox folder at the end of each 6 week cycle. However I the cost for additional space is minimal and I would not mind paying for the service. It is that helpful to me.
