WizIQ App on Edmodo allows its users to deliver Live Classes using the WizIQ Virtual Classroom
What happens when the ‘Best Virtual Classroom’ meets one of the most popular education platforms? Any guesses? Well, it’s simple. Amazing stuff happens.
We are happy to share the news that the WizIQ App is now available on Edmodo, a platform through which educators can connect and collaborate with students, parents and peers. The WizIQ App enables Edmodo users to deliver live learning (live classes) through the WizIQ Virtual Classroom.
How it works:
If you are an Edmodo as well as a WizIQ user:
Firstly, you will need to install the WizIQ App. To do so, login to your Edmodo account. Search for the WizIQ App in the Edmodo Store by using the search option on the page. Once you find the App, you can install it for free. After installing the app, you can launch the WizIQ App using the Apps Launcher option. You can then use the WizIQ App to schedule, conduct, and manage live online classes or webinars, and upload and manage content (refer to figure 1.1).
If you are an Edmodo user, but not a WizIQ user:
As explained above, you need to search and install the WizIQ App. When you launch the WizIQ App using the Apps Launcher option in Edmodo, you will be directed to a page with a link to get the API for launching the WizIQ App (refer to figure 2.1).
When you click on the link, you will be directed to the WizIQ page where you can register for a 14 -day free trial of the WizIQ Virtual Classroom (refer to figure 2.2).
Once you click on the ’14 Day Free Trial’, you will be directed to a page with the Access Key as well as the Secret Key (refer to figure 2.3).
Use the Access Key and the Secret Key to activate the WizIQ App on your Edmodo account (refer to figure 2.4).
Once this is done, you can start using the WizIQ App. Using the Schedule Class feature, you can conduct live classes and webinars from anywhere in the world. You can manage and upload content on Edmodo using the WizIQ App.

Deliver Live Classes – WizIQ App on Edmodo enables Edmodo users to schedule and deliver live classes using the WizIQ Virtual Classroom with innovative features, such as live audio and video communication, text chat, whiteboard, polls, screen sharing, live class recordings, and break out rooms, just to name a few.
Manage Classes: This feature allows you to access the list of all the classes (past, present, and future) scheduled by you along with their status. In addition, you can edit, cancel, reschedule an online class and also get an attendance report once a class is over.
Manage Content – You can create content folders and move your content to these folders using the Manage Content feature of the WizIQ App. Your content is stored in your Content Library where it is arranged in specific folders for easy access. While conducting a live class, you can directly use the content stored in your Content Library rather than uploading it from your computer while the class is in progress.
The WizIQ App extends Edmodo’s capabilities by adding the live learning element to the platform, thereby enabling educators to provide a complete learning experience to their learners.
